Stephen R. Bolze attended Duke University graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He earned a MBA from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business. Mr. Bolze is currently a Senior Managing Director and the Global Head of Infrastructure Portfolio Operations and Asset Management at Blackstone.
Prior to joining Blackstone in 2017, Mr. Bolze served as a Senior Vice President at the General Electric Company (GE) and President & Chief Executive Office of GE Power & Water. Mr. Bolze held a number of global leadership roles across GE Power Systems, Energy Management Services, GE Medical Functional Imaging, GE Healthcare International, Power Generation, Renewables and Power & Water. He was a member of the GE Corporate Executive Council. Prior to his 24 year career at GE, Mr. Bolze served as a management consultant for Corporate Decisions, Inc. and as a program manager at Westinghouse. Mr. Bolze serves on the Duke Pratt School of Board of Visitors and Michigan’s Ross School of Business Advisory Board. He was previously active in many energy-related organizations including the World Energy Council and the World Economic Forum where he has served as the Chair of the Electricity Technology Cluster.
