May 21, 2026 - Today the National Association of Waterfront Employers (NAWE) announced that Krister Holladay, SSA Marine’s Vice President of Government Affairs, has been named Vice Chair of the organization, alongside Ed McCarthy, COO of the Georgia Ports Authority, who was elected as Chairman.

As Vice Chair, Krister will support NAWE’s advocacy and member engagement efforts, drawing on his extensive background in terminal operations and private sector investment.

NAWE is a Washington based trade association whose member companies are privately owned stevedores, marine terminal operators, and other waterfront related employers. These firms are committed to keeping America’s international trade and commerce flowing to better serve our economy.
